Introduction:
Hi I'm Sam, I will be completing a 121km hike between 23/06/23 and 02/07/23 to raise money for Making Space charity. The hike will start in Aviemore and end in Pitlochry - located in the Cairngorms, Scotland.
Goal:
My target is to raise £600 in support of Making Space charity due to the support they provided my mum during her four year physical and emotional abuse cycle by her now estranged husband. Making Space charity provided my mum with regular counselling that gave her an insight into the cycle of abuse and why it is so difficult to escape. With continued support from family, counselling from Making Space and a renewed personal strength my mum has finally escaped and the promise of self-development fuels her determination to recover stronger.
Making Space charity believes that everyone should be supported to live their lives in the best possible way and reach their full potential. Your donation would help deliver vital projects for people with mental health conditions, people living with dementia and carers. Every penny of the money raised goes directly to frontline services that aren't provided by statutory provision.
