Making Space Digital Detox
I am going to digitally detox for Making Space and I would appreciate your support. March 2025 is Digital Detox Month at Making Space and I’m joining in. I use digital devices frequently but feel I will benefit from taking a break but I need your support to help me through it. Please sponsor me. Taking time out will be help you reconnect with others, take time de-stress and avoid the distraction that screens often provide. It can also help with sleep, improve mood, reduce anxiety, improve brain functioning, increase focus and reduce eye strain. Taking a break from devices can also give us time to try new things, spend time outdoors and chat face-to-face to family and friends. So, I’m looking forward to feeling those benefits despite how tough it’s going to be when I detox. Please sponsor me.

Making Space Being Ready Fund
Making Space now has 3 funds that donations and grants can support. The money in each fund can go to any Making Space division or service. So, each fund will support people living with dementia, with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, age-related concerns and unpaid carers.
You have chosen to support the Being Ready Fund.
At Making Space, we believe it is vital that we work to prevent future issues or concerns.
The Being Ready Fund could pay for technology that helps prevent older people falling, wellbeing projects that prevent isolation and loneliness and education bursaries to prevent young carers from missing out on their learning.
Your donations could help us to ensure the people we support avoid future challenges or are better prepared and ready to take them on by providing help and guidance that is needed to see them through.
Choose the Making Space Being Ready Fund to make a real difference in a person's life today. Thank you.

Remembering Ed Sherwood
Tribute
Ed was a fantastic man who used his precious time to contribute to a whole host of projects at Making Space. This included the Making Change Group meetings and events, assisting with employee recruitment, organisation event planning and awards judging, service audits and procurement, and much more. Ed went above and beyond - travelling long distances, offering great experience, insight, honest feedback and suggestions to help look at how we do things better. Ed was genuine, humble, and free of judgement, and he made a big difference to Making Space projects of which we are forever grateful, and he’ll be hugely missed.
