Join Making Space staff, supporters, volunteers and the people we support on an enjoyable 3k canal walk in memory of our founder, David Lyne.
The walk takes place on Wednesday 14 May, starting from the entrance to Walton Hall Park & Gardens, Walton Lea Rd, Higher Walton, Warrington WA4 6SN at 11:00am. The route will follow the Bridgewater Canal and we'll turn back at Acton Grange Bridge before returning to Walton Hall park for a walk in their gardens and chance to look at their zoo and other attractions.

The canal walk commemorates our founder, David Lyne and celebrates his achievements. David was a former development officer with the National Schizophrenia Fellowship and was driven by a determination to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions and their carers. His work has meant thousands of people have been supported and helped to live happy and full lives over the last 40+ years.
