Join Making Space staff, volunteers and the people we support on a scenic 5k canal walk through Cheshire in memory of our founder, David Lyne.

We’ll be taking a circular route through rural Cheshire on Wednesday 18th May, starting from the Anderton Boat Lift Visitor Centre in Northwich at 1pm. You can set up your own fundraising page and join our team fundraiser. All you need to do is scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the blue 'add page' button. You can then set up your own sponsorship page and raise vital funds for Making Space as part of our big team fundraiser!

Making Space reached our 40th anniversary in 2022 and so, we want to commemorate our founder, David Lyne and celebrate his achievements. David was a former development officer with the National Schizophrenia Fellowship and was driven by a determination to improve the lives of people with mental health conditions and their carers. His work has meant thousands of people have been supported and helped to live happy and full lives over the last 40 years.

Please join us on the 18th May. For more details or if you have any questions concerning the walk or setting up a sponsorship page, please email the fundraising team- fundraising@makingspace.co.uk.
