Making Space are counting the true cost of Christmas this year. We know Christmas is a financially costly time of year but there are other costs to our mental health too. For many of us it can be a time when we feel lonely, isolated, anxious and stressed. So, this festive season, to combat the costs of Christmas, Making Space are bringing people together with Baking Space coffee mornings and bake sales.
They say a problem shared is problem halved. Baking Space will not only give everyone the chance to share their problems but also share a cake too.
Chat. Eat cake. Raise money.
We are joining in and hosting our own Baking Space event, raising funds for our service, Mill Court.
Mill Court is a supported living complex that offers accommodation to people living with mental health conditions and learning disabilities in Ellesmere Port. We help people live independently but with 24/7 support on hand.
Our event is not going to be open to the public but if you would like to make a donation to help the people we support this festive season then we would really appreciate it.
We’ll also update this page with our total raised at our Baking Space event.
Making Space are a national health and social care charity. We support people living with dementia, mental health conditions, people facing the challenges of getting older and unpaid carers to live their best lives.
