Fundraiser - Carina's Jump in July

Story

I’m Carina and I’m the team leader for Making Space service, Knowsley Supported Housing. On the 18th of July, I will be completing a skydive for the service! We have four locations in our service, and the money I raise for this skydive will go towards taking our tenants on day trips to places like Llangollen or York.

Making Space’s Knowsley Supported Housing services combine accommodation with different levels of care and support, providing tenants with a place of their own and a real sense of independence. We work with our tenants to provide comprehensive support depending on the person’s specific circumstances.

I’ve always had the thought of completing a skydive at the back of my mind (I like chasing adrenaline!). I remember watching my big sister taking part in one when I was younger and seeing a picture of her mid-air and I thought it was the best thing ever! I’m feeling scared but excited, and it gives me a great opportunity to take our tenants out on memorable trips.
