Story

I’m Leanne and I’m the team leader & deputy manager for Cedar House. I’m raising money for sensory equipment for the people who draw on our support.

Cedar House provides planned respite care for people over 18 with learning disabilities and complex needs. We offer a planned short break service for up to seven people at a time, with six bedrooms for planned respite and one emergency bedroom. Working with individuals, families and carers to provide specialised care for the people that draw on our support.

I’ve chosen to do a skydive as it is something I can do to help give back to Making Space and help my service, along with others in Making Space, as we help to positively impact someone’s life. I’m excited to take part in the skydive as it’s such a good experience and it will also help us secure sensory equipment!
