The Mitie team, based at Hinton House in Birchwood have chosen Making Space to be their Charity of the Year. The team challenge for 2025 is to virtually walk the coastal paths of Great Britain, completing 7,723 miles, capturing steps via a group step counter app, by walking, running, or simply completing your duties at Hinton House.
The team will collectively capture all steps recorded by each individual on a daily basis and also complete stints on a donated treadmill from Decathlon, contributing to the overall total 7,723 miles.
The team aim to complete the challenge within 8 weeks, from the 1 September - 31st October 2025, the whole Hinton House Mitie team will be involved.
We will be tracking our miles and fundraising daily to ensure we are on target.
Please sponsor us to support Making Space. Making Space provides people with the care and support needed to help them live independent fulfilling lives. This includes those living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, dementia, or simply the challenges with getting older. Donations help Making Space to add value to their services, such as days out, garden projects, activity groups, new technology and tailor made additional support. We want those using Making Space services to get the most out of their experience with Making Space, all fundraised income goes straight back out into the local community to support those who need it the most. All the money raised by Mitie will support Warrington based services.
