Help us to make Christmas 2026, a kind-hearted Christmas as your donations provide gifts and essential items for the people who draw on our support.  

We launched the Kind Hearts Fund in April this year, with the aim to help the people who draw on our support to achieve a dream or experience meaningful activities.

Now we want to help the people who draw on our support have a fantastic Christmas and your support will allow us to deliver amazing gifts to people living with dementia, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, older people and unpaid carers.  

Please read about some of the people who draw on our support below and purchase a gift to make their Christmas wish come true or please choose from the selection of gift available for the people who draw on our support who would love a present this Christmas but would rather not share their story. 

The items available to purchase are gifts that will help a person Making Space supports enjoy a wonderful Christmas. The items will not be sent to you but instead will be gifted to a person who draws on our support. 

If we have an excess of the item purchased or another item is needed at that time, then the funds will be utilised wisely and an item of greater need will be purchased.

*The gift shop closes on Tuesday 15th December to allow Santa and his elves time to ensure your present is ready for the big day.

Making Space Kind Hearts Fund - Making Space

Making Space now has 3 funds that donations and grants can support. The money in each fund can go to any Making Space division or service. So, each fund will support people living with dementia, with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, age-related concerns and unpaid carers.

The Kind Hearts Fund helps the people who draw on our support to achieve a dream or experience meaningful activities.

The people who draw on our support have goals that they may need support to achieve.

The Kind Hearts Fund can pay for days out, overnight trips, gardening groups, arts and crafts projects, yoga/exercise classes, educational courses and many other exciting opportunities.

Your donation could pay for an experience, project or trip that will help a person or group Making Space supports to achieve a dream, meet new people, learn something new or enjoy meaningful activities.

Winter Warmer Pack- £35

We all enjoy a gift that makes us feel warm, cosy and content. A Winter Warmer Pack will help a person who draws on our support to enjoy the benefits of a warm drink, a cosy blanket and they'll be ready to take on the winter elements with a scarf and gloves set.
